The Wilsondee Civil Design Team has been created by acquiring a highly skilled, Knowledgeable, and experienced technical team, put together with a strong focus towards being able to deliver the highest of quality work packages within the House Building Industry, for reputable housing developer and for all Civil Engineering Design needs.

The core design team members have over 50 years of relevant industry experience between them and when required can also call for the support of a team of freelance engineers professionally qualified in the specific fields of Civil Structural Engineering, Environmental Issues and Geotechnical Engineering to aid them in delivering all your design needs, from conceptual design through to technical approval and adoption.

• Production of faultless, value engineered designs of all infrastructure.

• Private and Adoptable Drainage Plans.

• Drainage models & Hydraulic calculations for sewers, storage features, and SUD’s elements.

• External Works and Levels Plans (including cut and fill drawings if required).  

• Foundation Designs.

• Assessing the environmental impact and risks connected to our design decisions,

• Assessing the Health and Safety impact and risks connected to our design decisions,

• Negotiating with Local Authorities and other agencies to discharge planning conditions as well as acquiring Technical Approval in respect of various Section Agreements (e.g. S278, S38, S104, S184, S185, S106 etc.).

 

Our designs utilise certified software including the use of AutoCAD (AEC – bundle which includes Civil 3D, Revit, Vehicle Tracking and BIM), Micro-Drainage and Site 3D.

We understand the need to tailor our designs and working procedures to each individual client and our design team members have successfully worked on and designed major developments for many housing developers, including Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes, Redrow Homes, Taylor Wimpey Homes and Persimmon Homes.

As part of these projects they worked alongside many local authorities and service providers to successfully gain Technical Approval for their designs, including but not limited to approvals from Severn Trent Water, Anglian Water, East Sussex Water, Northamptonshire County Council, Peterborough County Council, Milton Keynes Council, Worcestershire County Council, Warwickshire County Council, and Staffordshire County Council.

 

We feel this experience enables us to immediately start working at full speed on any project we are contracted to and hopefully removes any of the usual concerns associated with using a new consultant for the first time.

We are fully insured with Employers Liability Insurance (£10m), Public Liability Insurance (£10m) and Professional Indemnity Insurance (£5m).
