Highways Asset Management

We have experienced staff able to administer the requirements of Stewardship Contracts, Term Maintenance Contracts, and Design Build Finance and Operate Contracts. We can provide the following services under the said contracts;

  • Carry out Inspection Surveys (General, Principal, and Special etc.), in accordance with the guidance given in BD 63/17.

  • Produce Technical reports based on these inspections and incorporate interpretive reports from specialist non-destructive testing reports.

  • Undertake Scour Assessment in accordance with BD 97/12.

  • Produce detailed Bridge Condition Indicator (BCI) Forms as a standalone document or using ‘Bridgestation’.

  • Undertake Inspections for Assessments and produce Bridge Load capacity Assessments.

  • Design, implement, and supervise bridge maintenance and refurbishment schemes.

  • Delivery of Interim Measures Schemes.

  • Undertake Confined Space Inspections with all relevant kit including Gas Monitors, Escape Sets, and Fall Arrest device.

  • Undertake River Boat Inspections using large boats equipped with a Mobile Elevated Work Platform.

  • Delamination Surveys and Working at Height (IPAF and PASMA Certification).

  • Site Investigations, Trial Hole Testing, and Reinstatement.

  • Vegetation Clearance.

Kingston Bridge

Project background

A London Bridges Engineering Group (LoBEG) project on behalf of KIER (LoHAC South Area) for the main client, Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames.

The works are part of the client’s ongoing commitment to public safety as well as maintaining the structural integrity of Kingston Bridge, a River Thames crossing bridge carrying the A308 in London.

Project description

Damjul Ltd undertook Principal Inspections (in accordance with the guidance provided in BD63/17) of various structure types including culverts and bridges on behalf of London Borough of Kingston. The most prominent of these structures was Kingston Bridge, a River Thames Crossing structure.
